The Soil Conservation Council of Canada's (SCCC) Healthy Agricultural Landscape Photo Contest is an annual event open to all residents of Canada with an interest in enduring the productivity of our soil resources. Our Photo Contest is part of how we are raising the awareness and importance of soil health and conservation among all Canadians. The Photo Contest is one component of National Soil Conservation Week, which takes place annually during the third week of April. SCCC's photo contest is a fun way to share your view of Canada's agricultural soil resources with all Canadians. Keep checking this website for updates and information on the next Contest.
Once again, the SCCC ran a Healthy Agricultural Landscapes photo contest to showcase sustainable farming practices in Canada. Receiving more photo entries than the previous year, two winners were selected in four categories. Those winners are Donna Rogers and Carrie Woolley; both from Ontario. The winning photographers receive a one-year free membership to the SCCC and a $100 gift card. Stay tuned as the 2017 contest will be announced later this year.
